Check for current notices of changes to City services or facilities, including holidays and other closures.
The Permit Service Center will be closed for the upcoming holidays on Monday, May 20, 2024, and Monday, May 27, 2024. Normal business hours will resume on May 21, 2024, and May 28, 2024, respectively, at 8:30 a.m.
The Finance Customer Service Center will be closing at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29 due to mandatory training.
The Office of the Director of Police Accountability is currently located at 2020 Milvia St, Suite 250, Berkeley, CA 94704. This temporary location will be effective until May 30, 2024.
Please note the South Berkeley Senior Center is not available for private rentals until after August 2024.
Bolivar Drive is re-opened between Addison Street to Bancroft as one-way vehicle traffic entering from Addison Street. Waterside Workshops, Street Level Cycles, and BORP are open. Dreamland Playground is open during construction. Please expect construction delays during construction hours.
Aquatic Park Water Quality: As of April 30, 2024 bacteria levels exceed the State Water Quality standards resulting in a yellow advisory.
Bacterial samples are collected weekly, usually on Tuesday mornings. The Parks Division updates the page when there is a change in water quality.
