Police Department
Police Department

This September, the Department began the process of transitioning from our existing sets of General Orders, Training and Information Bulletins and Police Regulations to policies in the Lexipol policy format and online system.  The complete transition to the Lexipol policy format is slated to occur toward December 2018.

The Berkeley Police Department began working with Lexipol with the goal of reviewing, revising, and maintaining our policies in a more thorough and timely fashion, while ensuring that each policy reflects not only our community- and department-specific legacy policy content, but current case law and new statutes, as well.
